The 3D Graphy Engineering & Medical 2023 launch event held at IIT Bombay on September 4th marked a significant milestone in the realms of engineering and medical technology. Bringing together a diverse spectrum of innovators, entrepreneurs, and industry experts, the event served as a platform to introduce ground-breaking advancements in 3D technology, encompassing printing, scanning, simulation, visualization and 3d printable materials. The event was graced by the presence of prominent personalities from the fields of engineering, medicine, and technology, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange. The launch event was a testimony for 3D GEM 2023 main event to be held on 9^th & 10^th December  which has already registered 60 plus speakers, 25 plus exhibitors and 1000 plus delegate expected to join from all the  industry associations who are end users of  3d technology.

Highlights:

1. Introduction of Industry Association Partners: Representatives from leading industry associations were introduced, underlining the collaborative effort between academia and industry. These partnerships aimed to drive research, development, and commercialization of 3D technologies.   Mr. Ashwani Sharma, Vice Chairman, Aeronautical Society of India, Bombay Branch,  Mr. Pradeep Narkhede, MD, Xcellance Medical Technologies Pvt Ltd,  Member, Association of Indian Medical Device Industry,  Dr. Hemanshu Mehta, President, Indian Society of Oral Implantologist,  Dr. Hemant Mondkar, Hon. Treasurer, The Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Mr. Sagar Deshmukh, President, IAMF, Mr. Manoj Singh, General Manager West Zone, MSME NSIC, Govt. of India   and others joined to witness and share the Industry perspectives supporting the event as Industry Association Partner.
2. 3D GEM 2023  to be held on 9^th & 10^th December a jointly organised event by IIT Bombay & 3D Graphy  will have the below activities –
3. Showcasing 3D Printing: Companies specializing in 3D printing demonstrated cutting-edge techniques and materials. Live demonstrations showcased the production of intricate engineering prototypes and medical implants, emphasizing the precision and efficiency of 3D printing solutions.
4. Exploring 3D Scanning: Experts in 3D scanning will exhibit the latest advancements in capturing real-world objects and environments in high fidelity. It will share the seamless transition from physical objects to digital 3D models, enabling rapid prototyping and design iteration.
5. Unveiling 3D Simulation: Simulation companies will showcase powerful tools capable of modeling complex engineering and medical scenarios. From testing structural integrity to simulating surgical procedures, these simulations will  illustrate the crucial role of 3D technology in virtual experimentation.
6. Immersive 3D Visualization: Companies specializing in 3D visualization will present immersive experiences, utilizing virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies. We have formulated 3D GRAPHY experience zones for interactive, lifelike environments, gaining insights into their applications in fields such as Dental, Aerospace, medical training and architectural visualization.
7. Technical Session :   Topics addressing different sectors and industry.
8. Investment Session :   Investors, VC’s and MSME, Govt of India to actively share insight of investment opportunities for 3D technology start – ups and SME’s India .
9. Poster Presentation Awards : Award felicitation  to encourage  researchers, scientist, Start-up innovators to share abstract about  their research conducted in 3D technology – 3D printer machines, 3D Design, 3D printable materials, 3D Simulation etc.
10. Networking Opportunities: The event will  provide ample networking opportunities, enabling attendees to connect with industry leaders, researchers, and entrepreneurs. Collaborations to foster and lay the foundation for business engagements and signing up contracts in the 10^th December  -  3D GEM BUSINESSS MEET session.
